Three months already?

The Bos is already 3 months old! I can't believe how time flies when you are being tortured by a colic-y baby and a crazy 2 year old. Ok, tortured might be too strong of a word, but the first 2 months of Boston's life just about ended my life. I wasn't sure I was going to make it. But lots of tears, prayers and loves got me through it.

We blessed the boy this past Sunday. He loved it! He didn't cry during the blessing, just got a little fussy at the end. It was probably because he was wearing the most adorable "old style" outfit ever! We searched high and low for the perfect outfit. I think we found it. And the little blue sweater he wore over top was to die for!

The blessing was beautiful. Brett blessed him with all the things he will need to make it through this life.

The Party

After the blessing we had a small luncheon. I worked entirely too hard and made entirely too big of a deal of it all. I swore after Gwen's blessing party that I wasn't going to make things that hard for myself with the next. I lied. I made 3 awesome cakes and Cafe Rio salads. I even made the beans from scratch! Meaning, I soaked dry beans and then cooked them and then used them in the recipe. The things I have to do to save a buck these days! Brett and I even stayed up until 1am making the centerpieces for the tables. I'm telling ya, I make too big of a deal out of these things! Of course, Brett and I were too busy at the party to take any pictures, but luckily my dad took a few.

We are so blessed to have so many friends and family that care about us and that were able to be a part of Boston's special day. Thank you everyone for taking time to share it with us!

Your little guy is so cute. Cannot believe all the work you did for your little party. Where did u have it? Looks so nice. I bought everything for ours and it was still stressful. Can't even imagine doing what you did!! Crazy! Looks like it turned out great though!

I wish we could have been there! Although, I am not entirely sure you would have wanted a recovering, adjusting, tired, sore, cranky mom there to ruin the mood. :) I cant wait to meet Boston, And for Beckham to meet his, I am sure, favorite cousin.

P.S. everything looked perfect by the way. If you are able to make it to Beckham's bruncheon feel lucky if we have store bought muffins. I need to take a lesson from you!!
